How To Reheat Chicken Pot Pie In The Oven
So, how on earth do you reheat chicken pot pie in the oven and avoid ruining the crust?

- Once it has reached an internal temperature of 165°F, take it out of the oven and remove the aluminum foil and it should be ready to serve.
As long as you stick to these instructions completely, your pie should be successfully reheated and the crust should still retain its flakiness without going soggy.
How To Reheat Chicken Pot Pie In The Microwave
If you don’t have enough time to reheat your chicken pot pie in the oven, then you can use the microwave.
However, reheating the pie in the microwave is definitely not recommended because it’s harder for the pie to retain its flaky crust using this method.
If you really don’t have time to use anything else though, there are a few things you can do to help your pie when it’s in the microwave.
You can not use aluminum foil or any foil in the microwave as this is incredibly dangerous, so keep that in mind before you put the pie in.
Put your chicken pot pie in the microwave on a microwave-safe plate and make sure you set your microwave to its lowest power setting.
For the absolute best results using this method, you should cut your pie up into smaller portions and heat them up individually for around 2 minutes.
If the pie still feels too cool after those 2 minutes, put it back in the microwave for another minute and continue to check. You want the pie pieces to be piping hot before you serve.
